Tellybird — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Tellybird app. By using Tellybird you agree to them.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tellybird for your own language learning. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app.

Subscription — Tellybird Pro

The free tier includes a limited number of subtitle captures per time window. The current allowance is always shown in the app and may change as we tune the service. Tellybird Pro removes this limit; a generous fair-use cap applies to prevent abuse.
Tellybird Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, monthly ($3.99/month) or yearly ($39.99/year), or the equivalent in your local currency. New subscribers get 7 days free; the exact prices for your region are shown in the app before you subscribe.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

Acceptable use

Use Tellybird only for lawful, personal learning. Do not attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent the service's security or usage limits.

Content & accuracy

Translations and word explanations are generated by AI and may be imperfect. To help you learn realistically, translations preserve the tone of the source subtitles, which can include slang or mature language. Content reflects the material you capture; Tellybird is a learning tool, not a source of the underlying media.

Intellectual property

Tellybird and its design are owned by us. You retain your own captured content; you are responsible for having the right to capture and translate it.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Tellybird is provided "as is," without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
